In this blog, Arc of Acadiana wants to take the opportunity to spotlight one of our organization’s heroes and our Program Manager: Angela Clymer-Norris.

Keep reading to see why we chose to promote her into this role and what her Day Program Division is all about.

What is Arc of Acadiana’s Day Program?

Our Day program focuses on meeting the recreational, social, and employment readiness needs of our I/DD community.

This program serves over 200 individuals as well as employs adults with special needs in the community and in Arc of Acadiana’s resale stores, recycling facility,  janitorial and vending small business enterprises.

These needs, when met, impact our members in really profound ways. Our Day Programs thus directly enhance the future and the overall quality of life of our clients.
