During our current country’s COVID crisis, we want to highlight a special group of heroes in our Arc of Acadiana family: our LPNs.
Licensed Practical Nurses
Our LPNs are working extra hard at such a crucial time. Even with the threat of exposure to the COVID-19 virus, our essential healthcare team is ensuring that our community is getting the care that they so desperately need.
Our LPNs assist our overall mission by performing duties such as taking vital signs, collecting lab samples, administering medication, ensuring patient comfort, and reporting the status of their patients to the rest of the medical team and always always providing the best quality care to those in their charge.

I am fortunate to have a team of LPNs that are loyal to the mission of Arc of Acadiana. Their experience and dedication are invaluable to the well-being of our clients. They provide compassionate first line delivery of care to the EB North (medically- fragile) clients in our Rayne group homes as well as medication education to our staff and medical triage of our clients in the In-home and residential setting.
