WHAT ARE HOME MANAGERS, COORDINATORS, QIDPS AND SCHEDULERS ROLE?
Home Managers, Coordinators, QIDPs and Schedulers play several roles within Arc of Acadiana’s organizational team.
They help to implement and supervise the care of every person we serve while ensuring each person’s individual goals are met on a daily basis.
They work with and train our fantastic team of DSP’s while providing oversight and support throughout the entire process, including:
- Individualized team meetings
- Evaluation and oversight of the care provided in each person’s home program development, implementation, documentation, and training.
OTHER ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Home Managers, Coordinators, QIDPs and Schedulers may also direct or connect the delivery of training or services from the medical staff or rehabilitation team. They ensure all requirements are covered and monitor the ongoing therapeutic needs of each person.
The Schedulers are responsible for ensuring our DSPs are assigned to clients according to their specific needs. They work closely with Coordinators, QIDPs, and Program Managers to facilitate all staff scheduling matters. The scheduler position is so essential to our clients care and the Arc team!
Part of their role is to also ensure that individuals have all the necessary equipment and that it is functioning properly, along with making sure that each client has everything they need in their homes to ensure they are happy and healthy.
Home Managers, Coordinators, QIDPs and Schedulers serve as a liaison between the family and Arc of Acadiana and can also advise the medical team or nutritional consultants and staff on vital updates or changes regarding each person’s dietary needs.
