We offer services designed to connect people with developmental disabilities to opportunities for community building, education, job training and increased independence. A team of passionate care providers manage each program and work with clients one-on-one and in group settings to help them gain new skills and confidence to chase their goals.


Community Group Homes for Disabled Adults
Arc of Acadiana provides 11 community group homes to help clients learn the joys and responsibilities of independent living. Our clients and their families are guided by experienced, compassionate staff members who understand the challenges faced by developmentally disabled individuals.
In-Home Care for Disabled Elderly & Adults
We believe that personal care should be easily accessible and comfortable. With Arc of Acadiana’s personal care services, adults and the elderly disabled through accident or illness can receive supportive services from the comfort of their own homes.

What type of programs and activities are available at Arc of Acadiana?
Arc of Acadiana provides care for individuals ranging from 18 years of age to 100. The programs available are built to achieve our mission of securing for all people with disabilities the opportunity to develop, participate, and live life to their fullest potential.
What is an adult day program?
An adult day program provides a caring environment that enhances the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through community integration, enrichment programs and a variety of social activities.
What is a typical day at the day program?
The day program offers a full day of interactions and activities, Monday – Friday, from 9:00am – 3:00pm. Our program maximizes physical and cognitive abilities; as well as social opportunities for all clients.
