At Arc of Acadiana, we believe that creativity is vital in promoting self-expression and cognitive skills. Our participants engage in a variety of artistic activities and are encouraged to express themselves through art and imagination. 

Whether it’s singing, dancing or playing an instrument, we provide ample opportunities for our participants to express their musical side and take part in meaningful movement throughout the day.

Socialization and community bonding are at the heart of what we do at our Day Programs. We offer a wide range of group building activities that promote communication skills, social interactions and friendship.

From gardening to exploring and more, we believe that time spent outdoors is crucial for mental wellbeing and physical health.

Do your day programs accept physically disabled adults?

At Arc of Acadiana, we accept any adults over the age of 18 who have mental disabilities, including those who have co-occurring physical disabilities as well.

How will my loved one get there and back home?

Transportation is determined upon admission. Our van’s are available to pick up individuals who live along the defined van routes, or, participants can be dropped off and picked up by family or care providers.
